August 8 Is Now Officially Nendoroid Day!

Big news! August 8th has officially been recognized as Nendoroid Day by the Japan Anniversary Association!
The date was chosen because the shape of the number "8" resembles a Nendoroid. With this year being the 8th year of the Reiwa era (making the date the 8th day of the 8th month of the 8th year), it was the perfect occasion to establish this new commemorative day.
To celebrate, we'd love for you to join in on the fun! Share your favorite Nendoroid memories, photos and wishes for the future on X using the hashtag #NendoroidDay on August 8th!
To mark the occasion, we'll also be giving away a Nendoroid Day commemorative uchiwa fan and special uchiwa optional parts that can be used with your Nendoroids during a two-day event on August 8th (Sat) and August 9th (Sun) in Akihabara.
